Mandatory Temperament Evaluation

Fee: $30.00
Tale of the Dog conducts a thorough evaluation of your dog’s temperament in a kennel-free environment. Upon successfully completing the evaluation, owners must schedule two full days (8 hours) of daycare before boarding can be scheduled. Special Offer: For pups who successfully complete the temperament evaluation, the $30 evaluation fee will be applied to their first full scheduled daycare.

Daycare Services

Pricing:

• 3 Hour Daycare: $35.00
• Half Day Daycare (Up to 5 Hours): $45.00
• Full Day Daycare (Up to 8 Hours): $55.00
• Extended Stay (Over 8 Hours): $65.00
• Multi-Dog Daycare (Up to 8 Hours): $50/Dog
• Late Pick-Up (After 6 PM): $15.00

Availability: Daycare is offered Sunday–Monday, 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and is based on availability. Reservations are required.

Boarding Services

Pricing:

• Standard Boarding: $75.00/Night
• Multi-Dog Boarding: $70.00/Dog/Night
• Late Pick-Up (After 6 PM): $15.00

Check-Out Time: Noon (additional fees apply for late pick-up).
Cancellation Policy: A $50.00 cancellation fee will apply if canceled within 48 hours of the reservation with the exception of these holiday boarding reservations: Independence day/Christmas and New Years

Holiday Cancellation Policy

To ensure we can accommodate as many guests as possible during our busiest seasons, the following cancellation policy applies to all reservations scheduled during the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holiday periods.

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. Please review the fee schedule below based on your cancellation timeline:

Important Notes:

• Definition of “Stay”: The cancellation fee is calculated based on the total estimated cost of your scheduled reservation.

• Notification: Please contact us via phone or email as soon as possible if you need to adjust your holiday dates to avoid unnecessary charges.

Availability: Boarding is offered Sunday–Monday, 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and is based on availability. Reservations are required.

Additional Services

Pricing:

• Medication Administration: $5.00/Dose
• House Kibble Meal: $5.00/Meal

Holiday Boarding & Daycare Pricing

There is a $15.00 up-charge for Boarding and $10.00 up-charge for Daycare services during holiday periods

3. Presidents’ Day – February 16 (2/13–2/16)
4. Memorial Day – May 25 (5/22–5/25)
5. Independence Day – July 4 (7/3–7/5)
6. Labor Day – September 7 (9/4–9/7)
7. Thanksgiving – November 26 (11/25–11/29)
8. Christmas & New Year’s – December 25 & January 1 (12/23–1/4)
